P1000
PINTRO® P1000 is a semi-automatic skewer machine that assembles skewers as if they were pierced by hand. This machine is meant for large-scale food producers such as suppliers to the hospitality industry or other businesses that produce brochettes, satays and skewers in large quantities. The end product appears artisanal yet uniform and ensures consistent quality.

One operator is needed to control the machine, while 2 to 4 workers are needed to place the ingredients on the product holders. More or fewer workers may be needed, depending on the number of ingredients per skewer. The PINTRO P1000 is simple to use for everyone.


P3000
The PINTRO® P3000 is the newest addition among the semi-automatic skewer machines. It is ideal for industrial major seasonal production quantities of up to 24,000 skewers per shift. The central theme is the traditional appearance of the skewer; constant quality, ergonomics and productivity.

In developing this machine, we took account of the highest possible capacity, an ergonomic, pleasant and safe working method for the operators, simple conversion for making other skewers and, of course, the traditional final result of the skewer.

Two master stations are occupied by on the one hand the machine’s operator and on the other hand a team that fills the moulds with ingredients.

One operator removes the formed skwers from the installation and performs a visual final inspection. A number of ‘fillers’ supply the moulds with the ingredients. The number of fillers depends on the quantity and diversity of the different components of the skewer. The installation has room for a maximum of ten fillers.

We have provided convenient filling towers so that the fillers only need to make as few movements as possible with plenty of autonomy.

The HMI display and its menu provide simple controls for e.g. making another type of skewer; it includes instructions and other relevant information such as the productivity.

The PINTRO P720 is an industrial kabob machine for large and mid-sized businesses, suppliers of kabobs to the snack and food industry, chip stalls, etc. Intended for daily production of kabobs

We recommend working with at least three persons when using this appliance. This means that 2 people fill the product trays and a third person operates the PINTRO appliance. This way, the person operating the machine stays constantly supplied and can continually mount the kabobs using the appliance. This is how we achieve optimal productivity with the PINTRO P720.

The sophisticated vision system permanently monitors the quality of the product. The location and orientation of the ingredients, as well as the position of the skewer tip are closely monitored during the pricking process.

It only takes a simple touch on the HMI screen for the logistical operator to select a recipe. He also supplies the hoppers with ingredients and resupplies the skewer container with sticks. Touching the start button will launch the machine to fully automatically produce skewers / kabobs.

The ingredients are automatically fed into the machine. They are separated, then transported on a conveyor belt to be presented for picking by the robot. An additional logistical operator may sometimes be needed to separate certain ingredients.

Each robot has a pair of customized grippers that will pick up the ingredients and place them perfectly centred onto the skewer stick. The vision system detects the location and orientation of the ingredients and then calculates and transmits the best position for pricking. For meat chunks this may e.g. mean that we want the piece to be picked and placed lengthwise onto the stick. For vegetables we could define that the robot should only pick and place convex pieces. These settings can be predefined and programmed according to the client’s needs.

The automatic skewer stick selector presents one skewer at a time facing the robot. The tip of the stick is permanently being monitored to ensure central pricking at all times. The completed skewers are transported out of the installation via a conveyor belt to a central collection point.

2-5 robots

Depending on your requirements an installation may consist of between 2 and 5 robots. A single robot can process about 3.300 components per hour.
