The topics for joint projects are diverse: from the development of innovative products and processes via effective and efficient hurdle concepts for food safety, to solutions for reducing overall costs across the entire process chain from raw materials to the end product.
Implement innovation and research projects flexibly and promptly with us in our in-house OFC Technology Centre, which includes development and sensory evaluation rooms as well as a production area on industrial standard. All production steps in the manufacture of meat and sausage products, convenience and plant-based products are covered, so that you do not have to block your own production capacities for trials and product samples. This enables product and process development to be tailored entirely to your requirements.
At IFFA 2025, we look forward to also giving you a first insight into the construction of our new company site, which is currently starting and will significantly increase e. g. the size of our Technology Centre.

Next Level Sensory Evaluations
At IFFA 2025, we will be presenting the OFC Pro-Senso software and app, a powerful tool with which you can take sensory evaluations in your company to the next level. Designed specifically for the practical requirements of the food sector, the software package includes the digital management, planning, implementation and evaluation of sensory food tastings. The results are available digitally for discussion and documentation immediately after the panel participants have entered their data. This not only saves time but reduces errors and supports objective sensory evaluations. OFC Pro-Senso also helps to comply with the current documentation requirements of the new IFS standard with minimal effort.
Next Level Training
A new addition to the training portfolio of the Oltmer Food Academy (part of Oltmer Food Consulting GmbH which specializes in providing expert training) are process training courses focussed on specific product groups, which are held in the production area of the OFC Technology Centre. These courses provide your specialist staff with detailed practical know-how. The background to this new training offering is the ongoing shortage of skilled staff combined with the frequent lack of practical production experience, especially among newcomers to the industry.
These new process training courses complement the Oltmer Food Academy's existing range of training courses on food sensory evaluations, which can be tailored precisely to the specific requirements of your company.
