Xnext has developed Xspectra, the most performant inspection technology in the world capable of detecting low density foreign bodies inside food products in real time in-line and ensuring the highest levels of food safety.

Xspectra like no other can easily detect bones, cartilages, non-calcified bones, plastics, woods and many more other contaminants inside bulk and processed meat directly in the production line minimizing the risks for market recalls.

At Iffa 2022, Xnext will present three inspection machines. One of the three is specifically developed to inspect bulk meat. The Bulk Top-Down inspection machine presents a larger inspection area with a 60cm width which allows it to easily inspect products on multiple lines.

XSpectra technology it’s also the best solution for glass in glass and metal in metal inspections. Xnext will also showcase the third generation of the Detection Unit: with a spatial resolution of 0.4 mm and 1024 energy levels photon counting is capable of inspecting meat and all food products without comparison.

Little glass fragments can be easily detected inside glass jars or bottles regardless of the position of the contaminant inside the jar: top, middle or bottom of the jar.
