When combined with our stretch wrappers and tray-sealers, our films make your packaging system performant, convenient and as environmentally friendly as possible according to the chosen application. Nevertheless flexibility is a must and the Fabbri films can also be used for manual packaging or on 3rd party equipment.

Nature Fresh is the new compostable cling film for manual and automatic applications, with certification of home (TÜV Austria) and industrial (Italian Consortium of Composters “CIC”, TÜV Austria, Seedling brand of European Bioplastics) compostability according to the EN 13432 standard. It received different historic and prestigious Prizes, among which the “Global Bioplastic Award” 2021, the “BIOPOLYMER Innovation Award” 2021, and, through the British customer Westaway Sausages, the “UK Packaging Awards” 2020. Already one year after its launch, Nature Fresh had been produced in hundreds of tonnes and tens of thousands of reels, with millions of packs coming onto the market.

BIOBASED STAR FILM is certified “OK-biobased®” by TÜV Austria.
This film guarantees automatic and high-productivity wrapping, thanks to excellent unrolling, adhesion (cling effect), cutting and sealing properties and to antistatic and high-resistance features. The BIOBASED STAR FILM can be printed up to 10 colors through a four-colour process with digital clichés for better brand and product promotion.

Fabbri Group produces two PE-based films: PEX and PEXY
- PEX is ideal for packaging fresh foods, including products with a high fat content, and is available in plain and printed form.
- PEXY is ideal for use in packaging of fresh foods, including products with a high fat content, and for storage at low temperatures. PEXY has obtained from the Dual System Interseroh Dienstleistungs GmbH* evidence of recyclability with the maximum score envisaged by the method itself.
- PERflex: A new project of recyclable monomaterial stretch film, fully compliant with the last EU Packaging Directive.
-> FOCUS ON: TRADITIONAL PLAIN AND PRINTED STRETCH FILMS
The stretch film manufactured by Fabbri Group can be found in a variety of formulations and formats. The characteristic stretchability and anti-condensation properties protect food effectively and naturally, keeping all its organoleptic and nutritional properties intact, while the particular “memory effect” of the film keeps the package in its original appearance even after it has been handled several times. In its printed version it helps to promote the customer’s brand and product, attracting the consumer's attention and strongly determining their inclination to buy.

- PELid is the barrier film developed and produced by Fabbri Group for MAP packaging of fresh foods, such as red and white meat, sausages, fish, cheese, fresh pasta, ready meals, fruit and vegetables.
- KlassLid is the high-barrier laminated film developed and produced by Fabbri Group for MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) of fresh and ultra-fresh foods. KlassLid is available in two anti-fog versions: “standard” and coated.
- Nature Lid is the Fabbri compostable high-barrier lid film certified by TÜV Austria according to Standard EN 13432. Nature Lid is the perfect choice for packing products in a protective atmosphere, such as red meat, white meat, sausages etc.
