FOMACO CONTINUOUS TUMBLER

FOMACO CONTINUOUS TUMBLER

Description

Constructed completely of stainless steel the Fomaco continuous tumblers both remove brine from the surface and seal needle marks in the product and skin, which helps bind the injected brine or marinade. This provides you with the most appealing end product and the option to reuse excess marinade if desired.

THE CT 250 Available for our range of small to medium-sized injectors is the compact continuous tumbler model CT 250. THE CT 375 For our M3 injector series, the tumbler model CT 375 handles a much larger capacity.

THE FOMACO BRINE COLLECTING BUFFER TANK PFS 90
Designed for collecting, filtering and reusing the return brine from the tumblers, the PFS 90 buffer tank fully optimizes your production. The brine is transferred back to the filter tank by means of the integrated transport pump. The unit is manufactured completely of stainless steel and mounted on four wheels for easy maneuvering during the cleaning process.

FOMACO M3 INJECTORS

The M3 is the world's most flexible injector-tenderizer. By mixing and matching various components, the M3 allows you to customize the machine to fit your production perfectly, giving you the highest level of specialization possible.

The M3 comes in four different sizes, each with a different number of head configurations available, allowing for total customization. Due to the modular design, identical programs and because the exact same construction principles have been applied to all components and controls, installation and use have never been easier.

MAXIMUM MOVEMENT CONTROL
With the M3 you are the one in control. Independent spindle motors for each needle head enable the M3 to adapt to the height of your product. It is even possible to define the movement range of the needle head from top to bottom, givingyouan unprecedented control of the salt and marinade distribution. The linear acceleration during injection ensures a uniform salt distribution from top to bottom.
RELIABLE - EVEN IN AGGRESSIVE ENVIRONMENTS
The M3 is a series of thoroughly tested, high quality production machines designed to operate in highly demanding and aggressive production environments. The ‘box-in-box’ construction seals and protects critical electrical components and controls from water ingress, humidity and atmospheric salt.

OPTIMIZED FLOW FROM PUMP TO PRODUCT
At Fomaco we constantly improve and enhance the performance of our machines. Our use of state-of-the-art pump systems has eliminated dead zones and low flow areas, ensuring a constant pressure and a precise flow rate. The result is a uniform brine distribution - regardless of product type, size and number of needles.

INTELLIGENT SOFTWARE FOR IMPROVED PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
To provide a smooth and uncomplicated production process the M3 comes with advanced, built-in software. Remote Device Manager (RDM) allows for troubleshooting and updating of the machine directly from the Fomaco facility in Denmark. This both saves valuable production time and minimizes potential downtime. In addition to providing an unlimited number of preprogrammed production profiles, many routines are fully automated:

Automatic lubrication
Automatic monitoring of brine temperature
Automatic control of min. pump pressure
Automatic troubleshooting
Automatic cleaning program

Everything is controlled fromthe both user friendly and highly intuitive touch screen mounted on a swing arm for convenient operation at all angles.

Last but not least data such as temperature and brine levels are transmitted from filters and brine mixers/storage tanks, while the Inline Weight Controller (IWC) constantly monitors the injection quantity and corrects the settings in case of irregularities.

THE FOMACO IWC SYSTEM

Accuracy and consistency are keywords when adding brine and marinade to products. Many measures can be taken to ensure the uniformity of end products, one of them being monitoring the weight before and after injection.   Consisting of two individual weighing units continuously measuring the weight prior to and after injection, the Fomaco In-line Weight Control system (IWC) does exactly that. This unique system is extremely valuable when wanting to ensure precise brine injection throughout the production day, as it enables you to constantly monitor the weight of your products.    Because the IWC system is part of the complete Fomaco processing line, the weighing units of the IWC system are easily added to your existing M3 injector. The conveyor belts of the weighing units are designed to always run in synchronisation with the M3 conveyor belt, a process that is both unique and keeps your workflow simple and hassle-free.

HOW IT WORKS
The IWC system’s two weighing units are attached to the inlet and outlet of the M3 injector conveyor, which makes it possible for the IWC system to weigh the products both prior to and after injection. The weight difference between the two is therefore the actual weight gain. The Fomaco IWC weighing conveyor is a flow weigher, a continuous totalizer for bulk products.

The weighing principle is based on continuously weighing the flow of product moving over the conveyor without systematic subdivision of the product and without interrupting the movement of the conveyor. The IWC system has been designed for measuring high-volume of the bulk products to ensure uniform injection levels in connection with Fomaco M3 injectors. For that reason, it must only be considered as an internal control system of the injection process and therefore doesn’t have to be inspected regularly by an authorized body. Regular calibration and control of the system is left to the owner. The load cell system inside the two weighing units measure the weight and send the data to the control system, where the data is compared to the pre-set injection percentage. In case of any irregularities between the two data sets, the IWC system automatically adjusts the pump pressure.     Read more about the Fomaco IWC system here: https://www.fomaco.com/meat/equipment/iwc

THE FOMACO CLEAN LINE SYSTEM

Whether you operate in the meat, poultry or fish industry, the brine mixing process is a production step where an upgrade to a more efficient operation can be profitable. Our state-of-the-art brine preparation concept equips you with a modular mixing system that will eliminate the risk of costly errors, ensure fast and thorough cleaning, reduce manpower needs and guarantee fast, reliable and homogeneous brine mixing.

SCALABLE TO MATCH PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS Depending on the complexity of the mixing assignment. The Fomaco clean line brine preparation system can be configured to meet production needs. This allows for a tailored setup to ensure efficiency, simplicity and a flexible production process. MULTIPLE INGREDIENTS – ONE CONTROL PANEL By adding mixing sub-stations you can increase productivity substantially. With just one control panel you can handle up to five ingredients. While one ingredient is mixing in the tank, the next ingredient can be prepared in another mixing sub-station. INTUITIVE INTERFACE As handling costly ingredients is a delicate process, the brine preparation system is equipped with an intuitive interface. The recipe manager will guide the operator through the mixing process step-by-step.   RECIPE MANAGER AND BARCODE READER The mixing station has an integrated recipe manager, barcode reader and load cells on the mixing hopper. This ensures that the right ingredients are mixed in the right order and the right quantity.     CLEANING HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER An automatic washing programme with a CIP rotating spraying ball system, self-draining mechanism and a number of other unique features make cleaning of the Clean-Line system both thorough, quick and safe.    Read more about the Fomaco Clean Line System here: https://www.fomaco.com/meat/brochures
