The special Indium Amalgam lamps used in the steriBELT have an approx. 4-fold higher UVC output compared to conventional UVC lamps with the same construction length. In addition, due to the unique flat lamp technology, more than 50% of the generated UVC power is emitted directly onto the surface, which is why the steriBELT lamps are much more efficient than round standard lamps. Only about 1/3 of the UVC power is emitted directly onto the surface.

Innovative high-power UV-C system for air disinfection of rooms. The powerful UVC lamp, makes it possible to run the UVELIOS® 500, with only one lamp. Other manufacturers require up to 4 lamps for a lower dose. The air purifier is fully equipped with a light trap, which allows it to be installed in low rooms (2 m from the bottom edge of the air purifier), without any risk for employees to be exposed to the UVC light.
The UVELIOS® 500 air purifier can also be used in cold ambient temperatures down to 5° C.

The high-quality, ozone-free UV-C lamps achieve a service life of 12,000 h.
The integrated lampCONTROL LT controller displays the operating hours and the system status. If the lamp needs to be replaced in the near future, an alarm is triggered. The lamp switches off automatically and can be replaced within minutes without using tools or disassembling the entire unit.
The integrated fan and all electronic components are protected against UV-C to prevent aging of the components over time.
