Braiding and winding machines for any kind of application.
For the textile industry Herzog round and flat braiding machines produce amongst others: Sewing yarn for shoes and round or flat shoelaces, candle wicks, fancy braids, laces and jacquardcords.
For sports and leisure: mountaineering ropes or parachute lines, kite lines and water ski lines. Shock cords are used for bungee ropes. High-tech fibers like Dyneema
are used for the production of ultra fine fishing lines or yachting ropes.
Unsurpassed stability and tear resistence make braided products, first of all ropes, indispensable also for fishing and seafaring. HERZOG machines produce nets, ropes and hawsers for highest demands.
In the offshore industry more and more steel rope constructions are replaced by textile ropes, e.g. made from polyester or UHMPE fibers. Different constructions are used as mooring lines, hawsers and towing lines.
The demand for different technical braids (and the braiding technology) keeps pace with the technical progress. For example:
