Always thinking ahead. And leading the way! For 50 years.
Since CDS was founded 50 years ago, the company has evolved from a small business at the Frankfurt am Main slaughterhouse into a global player with a focus on natural casings, special meat cuts & offal and frozen food services.
How did we manage it? Through constant innovation, recognizing what customers want, breaking new ground, persistence, and a firm belief in progress. And – last but not least – through a workforce who are united in commitment and responsibility and without whom such a long success story would never have been possible.
CDS Hackner is known as a quality and innovation leader. Our natural casing products set standards and enable our customers to achieve outstandingly economical processing combined with the highest levels of quality and safety. We refine many of the parts of slaughtered animals that do not find their way onto German plates, and deliver these meat and offal products to those parts of the world where they are appreciated and sought after. We are also a frozen food services system partner offering the food industry a full service along the entire cold chain, from freezing to delivery.
But above all, even after 50 years, we’re still a family business that loves the industry – with all the advantages that entails: flexibility, responsibility and the ability to make decisions quickly.
