Pulsar Industry has been in the meat production and processing sector for more than thirty years and produces innovative solutions for production and packaging departments. Below you can find a brief overview of the main solutions.
The robotized automatic cartooning system for bags and trays: an extremely compact monobloc housing, depending on the packaging process requirements, parallel kinematic robots and anthropomorphous robots that, supported by a cutting-edge vision system, pick the product up, orient it correctly and lay it inside the final container (normal or display).
A complete series of machines covers all ham steak production requirements, from mould making, to repressing after baking, up to the automatic opening of the moulds, emptying and bag packaging of end products.
For salami and ham seasoning, Pulsar Industry presents a modular solution to create a bagging, hanging and loading unit formation line. It features a level of automation tailored upon customer’s requirements.
Out of the bagging machine, either a fully automatic system or, as an alternative, a facilitator that enables the operator to handle very heavy units, operates to form every single bar.
An automatic device arranges layers consisting of various bars, according to their size. The layers are picked by an anthropomorphous robot or – depending on the speed and payload – by an aisle crane that fills the racks.
A stainless steel shuttle collects the racks and weighs them by means of its weighing cell. In the end the shuttle transfers the racks into the seasoning cells.
The system includes the control parameter management of the cells and the final handling, assisted by the stainless steel shuttles and anthropomorphous robots or aisle cranes, toward packaging or slicing lines.
This fully integrated system enables monitoring the daily weight loss in the cells thanks to the shuttles’ automatically weighing any loading unit, thus providing the most complete product seasoning and quality levels.
Among Pulsar Industry’s latest solutions, it is worth mentioning fully robotized plants to make moulds of bresaola and ham for slicing, and stainless steel automatic storage systems provided with stainless steel, auto-sanitizing travelling lifts able to handle crates of fresh meat and semi-processed products.
In addition to this, the company also produces robotized systems for turkey load and discharge, robotized sorters for production departments for the handling of portioned meat and semi-processed products, and robotized palletizing plants for pallet making for finished product storage.
It is also possible to carry out integrated analysis on manpower, energy consumption, other industrial expenses, machine stops at any work cycle, and production efficiency basing on Overall Equipment Effectiveness - OEE index.
Pulsar Industry engineers and manufactures the mechanics, control boards, equipment and automation. All plants are provided with the factory software Dynamic that, supported by powerful AI algorithms, includes traceability and quality files management, it also reads and compare all function data in such a way as to provide efficiency and productivity graphics in real time.
Using Dynamic Pulsar Industry’s customers can line out the improvements areas of their plants thanks to the OEE index. This is the first, crucial step to increase marginality.

Automatic self-sanitising stainless steel WAREHOUSES
The automatic stainless steel warehouse is one of the most exclusive realisations of Pulsar lndustry. Designed for the storage and handling of crates containing fresh or semi-finished products, it can be
realised, depending on the customer's needs, with different levels of height and depth. The stacker crane, completely made of stainless steel, can be equipped with multiple gripping arms, thereby optimising the system's capacity of the system per single mission. The entire system is also equipped with an automatic sanitisation system capable of intervene even in the most hidden corners without need for man's intervention. This solution reduces the cost of labour and surface area used, while also improving the energy efficiency of the warehouse.

ROBOTIZED ISLANDS OF CARTONING DICED AND SLICED PRODUCTS IN TRAYS
Pulsar lndustry manufactures and markets a range of innovative solutions for production and packaging departments including the automatic robotised cartoning system for bags and trays trays containing
sliced and diced products respectively.
The system, which is aimed at both sausage producers and dairies, is in the form of an extremely compact monoblock inside which, depending on the needs of the packaging process, one or two parallel kinematics robots find a place.
Assisted by a state-of-the-art vision system vision system, the robots intercept incoming product from production lines, which may be in single or multiple trays, they pick it up correctly orientated and gently place it in the destination carton.
Once completed, the cartons are directed to the next sections of the line where they will be closed and labelled. For the packaging of the pouches in the same monoblock there is a parallel kinematics robot that forms the piles of the desired size and a small anthropomorphic robot that picks up the stack of pouches and envelopes and inserts it at the desired angle into the previously pre-formed carton. Any
cardboard can be filled with these systems, even those designed to be directly exposed to the public. The system proposed by Pulsar lndustry is extremely flexible and with its its high performance and its
complete modularity, allows you to equip the packaging departments of the most demanding customers, allowing great economies of resources with a surprisingly quick payback.

Salami Handling
For the seasoning of products Pulsar Industry has developed an automatic system with anthropomorphic robots that that carry out the arrangement in bars and the subsequent composition of loading units intended for storage in the maturing cells. The system includes the management of all the
cell control parameters and the final handling, assisted by automatically guided stainless steel shuttles
and anthropomorphic robots, to the packaging lines or slicing lines. This systemfully integrated allows the weight loss to be monitored daily in all cells thanks to the ability of the shuttles to weigh automatically each individual individual load unit, thus providing this way the most complete control of levels of seasoning and quality of the product. It is also possible to carry out integrated analyses of consumption of labour, energy
and other industrial costs, of machine downtime for each work cycle and production efficiency based on the calculation of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

Palletising systems
The extensive use of anthropomorphic robots has enabled Pulsar lndustry to develop a series of applications aimed at forming pallets characterised by a high flexibility and incomparable efficiency. Palletising islands can be set up with one or more robots depending on the number of pallets to be formed simultaneously and the incoming flows input. The grippers are designed in such a way as to perfectly adapt to the handling of even the most delicate packages. Palletising schemes adapt dynamically to the type of box produced and the customisation specifications of the individual customer order by providing
the automatic insertion of interlayers, protectors and other accessories.

Dynamic, the departmental software lor production
contol and warehouse logistics management fully
designed and produced by Pulsar lndustry, is being
