Downstroke Hide Puller

Removes the complete cattle hide, including de-hiding the head.

The machine comprises of two stainless steel tubular frames, one fixed and one vertically sliding.

Vertical movement of the sliding frame is achieved hydraulically. The sliding frame has a stainless-steel drum attached and is driven by a hydraulic motor.

Two stainless steel operator platforms are provided.

An Electrical Stimulator is incorporated into the Downward Hide Puller. This device prevents backbone fractures as the hide is removed. It operates with PLC control and comes complete with its own steriliser.

Operation

• It pulls the hide from the tail area down along the back and finally over the head.
• The two main operations of the machine are controlled via foot pedals or levers.
• The drum is rotated by a hydraulic motor and the main carriage is moved up and down by a hydraulic cylinder.
• The hide puller incorporates its own stainless-steel stands complete with built in apron washes, knife/whizzer sterilisers drip trays and drainage system.
• The electrical control panels are built onto the machine frame meaning only electrical power and air supply are required from the customer.

Rise & Fall Stand

Heavy-duty construction is used for all our products, using hot-dip galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium; reducing corrosion and providing easy cleaning.

The ‘Rise and Fall’ stand is manufactured from Stainless Steel with pneumatic control action. This device is available in a range of options & sizes to suit individual requirements.

Optional hygiene equipment:

• Knife steriliser (Available with heating element to raise temperature from 40°C to 82°C if required)

The “H” frame slide is normally mounted on the rear of the platform but can be side mounted otherwise if requested.

The sizes of platforms available vary from approximately 600x600mm SQ, Standard size 1300x970mm. Larger sizes to suit varying applications are available on request.

Final Puller

The Final Puller automatically performs the final removal of pelts from sheep and lambs. Built to withstand the toughest operating conditions; it requires low maintenance.

Using hydraulics with PLC control; it is capable of handling up to 600 carcasses per hour.

Pre-assembly and testing ensure smooth installation, reducing plant down-time. The Final Puller requires floor preparation and safety railings around the Arm working area for Operator safety.

Automatic Hock Cutter

The Automatic Hock cutter comes complete with the hydraulic cutter, mounting plate and stainless-steel enclosure for sterilizing. The cutter moves in and out by a pneumatic cylinder with manual hydraulic height adjustment.

It can be used at the end of the bleed line for hind leg removal or at the end of the breasting line for fore leg removal.

The carcass must be suspended from both legs for automatic hind leg removal.

The cutting is done by two hydraulic shears enclosed with stainless steel guards.
