Special show: Retail Selling Today 5 – 10 May 2007 Hall 6.0, Stand B10 In the butchery business customer orientation plays a major role in selling: you will only be successful if you encourage customers to stay loyal to your business over the long term and if you are responsive to the needs of modern consumers. “Retail Selling Today”, a special show organised by Messe Frankfurt as part of IFFA in Hall 6.0, will provide suggestions and tips for doing exactly that. An exhibition space of more than 400 square metres will feature, among other presentations, a model shop and a lecture area. Messe Frankfurt’s partners will also be making presentations there. These will include such well-known firms as KRAMER GmbH (shop fitters), MOGUNTIA-WERKE Gewürzindustrie GmbH, EDNA International GmbH (Bakery Products), Weber Packaging GmbH (packaging, ideas, both), Silex Elektrogeräte GmbH (contact grills), CONVOTHERM Elektrogeräte GmbH (ovens) and PricoPlex (counter trays and presentational ideas). The model shop will show how selling at a butcher’s can become an experience – beginning with a perfectly designed meat and sausage counter, to a sophisticated presentation of cheese, fish and bakery products, to a hot counter with a snack area. Expert speakers at the forum will discuss such subjects as “From wax paper to high-end vacuum dish”, “Packaging techniques – the most common mistakes”, “Ideas from bistro to snack counter”, “The hot-food counter in all its aspects”, “The baker as cook versus the butcher as baker”, “Pastries and further fine foods”, “Party service and outside catering – putting trends simply into practice.” |
