Exhibition of historical machinery Halle 6.1 E45 5 – 10 May 2007 Meat chopping, cutting and mincing machines from 1910 onwards from the machine works of Seydelmann KG, Stuttgart. The Seydelmann machine works performed outstanding pioneer work in developing meat-processing machinery. By the close of the nineteenth century Seydelmann was already supplying accessory parts for the meat trade. The meat-cutting machinery presented here, such as choppers and mincers, caused a world-wide sensation. This machinery was manufactured from 1910 onwards. Even then these machines earned immediate approval through their extremely compact construction and, being easy to clean, were harbingers of the future for modern, hygienically built food machinery. Innovative technology and existing know-how enabled the company repeatedly to set the standard in constructing machinery for the meat trade. Today products from the Seydelmann machine works enjoy an excellent reputation world-wide in the butcher’s trade and in the meat industry. |
